Lawnswood have yet again entered a team into the Midland SEN football league. This year there are 20 schools taking part in two leagues, 1 and 2 place out of each league will play in the semi-finals and potentially the final, which for the past two years has been played at St Georges Park (the England training ground). The first game of the 2019/2020 season saw Lawnswood beat Woodlands 7 – 2. The team worked extremely hard and fought well showing composure and a good team spirit. All centres were represented at the match with every player having a key role in the victory. Hopefully, the season will be as successful as the first match. Well done Lawnswood!
